Fresh Tomato Pizza

Keep this recipe handy for a quick meal or last minute get together!

1 - 10 oz can  Refrigerated pizza dough

3-4 Medium Roma tomatoes

1/4 c  Fresh basil coarsely chopped, or 2 tsp dried basil

Freshly ground black pepper

1 c  Shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Spray a 12-inch pizza pan with nonstick spray.  Press pizza dough evenly into prepared pan.  Arrange tomato slices on top.  Sprinkle with basil and season with pepper.  Sprinkle on cheese.  Bake 15-20 minutes or according to package directions. 

Cut into 8 wedges.  Per wedge:  151 calories, 7 g fat,  0 mg cholesterol, 336 mg sodium, 20 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 7 g protein.

Note-if you prefer, add tomatoes after the pizza is baked.
