Tuna Melts
A family favorite with a twist!
1 can (12oz) Chunk light tuna, packed in water, drained and flaked
1 1/2 c Packaged coleslaw mix
3 T Sliced green onions
3 T Reduced fat mayonnaise
1 T Dijon mustard
1 tsp Dried dill weed
4 Whole wheat English muffins, split and lightly toasted
1/3 c Shredded reduced fat Cheddar cheese
Preheat broiler. Combine tuna, coleslaw mix, and green onions in medium bowl. Combine mayonnaise, mustard and dill weed in small bowl. Stir mayonnaise mixture into tuna mixture. Spread onto English muffin halves. Place on oven broiler pan or in toaster over. Broil 4 inches from heat 3-4 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil 1-2 minutes more or until cheese melts.
Serves 4. Per serving: 191 calories, 5 g fat, 1.5 g saturated fat, 32 mg cholesterol, 485 mg sodium, 15 g carbohydrate,5 g fiber, 26 g protein.
